Year 4, 5, & 6 are taking part in PBL this term, that means that we are not focusing on exams and results but instead we are learning soft skills, such as teamwork, communication and cooperation in order to produce a final product. Students are assessed throughout the term as the complete different sections of their project. They may decide that something is wrong or needs moving and this is encouraged, as it is not so much about the final piece, but the process to get there. It is a cross-curricular activity, which encompasses a range of subjects including; Science, English, Geography, History and ICT. The projects are coming together well and it is interesting to go into a classroom and see all the students excited and eager to explain what they are doing, including the use of the correct terminology. We are all getting excited to see what the final products will be.<\/p>\n
