What Do We Do Currently

Sayfol strives to use educational technology assist with implementation of the Pearson Edexcel Curriculum. It is used as a tool to raise standards and graduation and performance rates, as well as to prepare students for life beyond school. Technology is employed together with direct instruction and highly qualified guidance.

Currently Sayfol has a number of different ways in which technology is integrated into teaching and learning. All teachers are equipped with the latest iPad and laptops enabling them to carry out educational research alongside the students to support the learning and assessment process in the classroom. Wi-Fi is provided to students to access educational material in their classrooms. In addition, the school has three fully equipped computer labs with the most recent applications and software.

All of the above are supported by layered policies to ensure that students learn about using technology responsibly, and adhere to school policies.

The School is currently looking at ways to expand and upgrade the use of technology, and we are also in the final phase of implementing a new educational management system. This system will provide the students, teachers and parents with greater opportunity to engage with various aspects of the students’ progress in school. Our new world class multi-purpose sport centre will also give the opportunity, for further expansion of our technology-enhanced learning in sports education.

My journey in Sayfol started the moment I stepped into Primary 1. From there, the next 11 years went like a flash. I still think back and recall the moments, which I will always cherish. Along the way, I met different types of people, made friends, lost a few and, not to forget, learned something new every day. I won’t say I never faced any obstacles, but overcoming them made me who I am today. I can sincerely say that the past 3 years had been the best years of my life.
