Academic Positions

1) Head of Department – BCM teacher

• MUST possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate, Professional Degree in Business Studies / Accounting / Economics or in any related field.
• Should be able to teach Business Studies, Commerce, Economics for IGCSE & A Levels
• Well versed in the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Business Studies/Accounting subject teacher for secondary school.  Prepare students for the IGCSE examinations.
• IT savvy and well versed in Google applications and Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Excellent in English communication
• A strong team player
• Approachable and able to maintain good relationships with students and colleagues
  

2) Head of Department – Physical Education

• Must possess at least a Bachelor degree in Sports, Physical Education or related field. Master degree holder of related field is preferred.
• Must be able to teach IGCSE PE.
• Must have experience in physical education for a minimum of 2 years and leadership experience preferred.
• High level of interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students and staff.
• The ability to further develop outcomes and participation for all.
• Able to commit to weekends and afterschool sports competitions. 

3) Head of Department – Social Science

• Must possess at least a Bachelor degree in a relevant field such as history, geography, global studies, social science, education, or a related discipline is typically preferred. Master degree holder of related field is preferred.
• Must be able to teach History, Geography, Global Perspectives.
• Must have worked in a school environment for a minimum of 2 years.
• High level of interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students and staff.
• The ability to further develop outcomes and participation for all.
• Able to commit to weekends and afterschool sports competitions. 

4) Music Teacher

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Degree in Music/Performing Arts Studies, Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.
• Must be able to play/teach at least one musical instrument.
• 1-2 years of experience in teaching or related fields preferred; experience with IGCSE is preferred. Must be able to teach IGCSE Music.
• Bright and cheerful personality.

• Strong interpersonal skills, work with all levels of staff, professionals, parents and families, and community partners from diverse nationalities and cultures.

• Excellent communication skills – spoken and written English

At Sayfol, we offer internship opportunities to all undergraduate and postgraduate students with firsthand experience, exposing you to a real teaching environment.

This program is ongoing throughout the year, so apply ahead if you intend to have your practicum training with us.
