Kindergarten & Reception

2.5 – 5 Years Old

Welcome to Sayfol KidzHouse

At Sayfol KidzHOUSE, we aim to provide an environment that nurtures and promotes the development of our students’ emotional, social, intellectual and physical skills. Our Early Years educators understand that starting Kindergarten can be a daunting prospect for our little ones, and work hard to support their understanding that going to school is like discovering a new world, but not one that is completely unfamiliar. They provide learning opportunities that allow our learners to explore, make connections, and express their ideas in multiple ways.

International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) places your child at the heart of the curriculum and supports the key areas of their learning. Inquiry and play-based approaches encompass all areas of the curriculum, including personal, social and emotional development.

We ensure that learning is personalised and that the IEYC effectively wraps around the child’s needs and interests. This flexible curriculum contains units of learning based on exciting themes. These units aim to capture children’s natural curiosity, the force behind a hungry mind, as a starting point. They are designed to balance child-initiated learning and teacher-scaffolded learning in an enabling environment. Through the IEYC, each child will have a unique learning journey and develop the ability to:

  • Grow as an independent learner
  • Communicate clearly
  • Work collaboratively, embracing differences and showing respect, kindness and caring towards others and self
  • Think critically and creatively
