What Do We Do Currently?
Sayfol strives to optimise educational technology assist with implementation of the Cambridge Curriculum. It is used as a tool to raise standards and graduation and performance rates, as well as to prepare students for life beyond school. Technology is employed together with direct instruction and highly qualified guidance.
Currently Sayfol has a number of different ways in which technology is integrated into teaching and learning. Teachers are equipped with the latest iPad and laptops enabling them to carry out educational research alongside the students to support the learning and assessment process in the classroom. Wi-Fi is provided to students to access educational material in their classrooms. In addition, the school has 5 fully equipped computer labs with the most recent applications and software, with 2 having 3D printers.
All of the above are supported by layered policies to ensure that students learn about using technology responsibly, and adhere to school policies.
The School is always looking at new ways to expand and upgrade the use of technology. We are implementing a new educational management system which will provide the students, teachers and parents with greater opportunity to engage with various aspects of the students’ progress in school.
