Our Year 6 students visited Sungai Tekala in January to tie in with their study of rivers and waterways. They walked along the river and up to the waterfall. Students were able to identify the parts of the river and explain features that they had learnt about in the classroom. We often have trips that are related to the classroom, to enable our students to experience their learning in a real life setting. After walking back down from the waterfall, some of them decided to cool off in the river.
